Our Aeration & Overseeding Process
Core Aeration
We use professional core aeration equipment to remove small plugs of soil throughout the lawn. This helps relieve soil compaction and allows air, water, and nutrients to move more effectively into the root zone.
Better Seed-to-Soil Contact
The openings created during aeration give grass seed more opportunities to grow instead of sitting on top of compacted turf.
Overseeding
After aeration, we spread quality fescue seed throughout the lawn to help fill thin areas and establish fresh growth.
Fall Establishment
Cooler fall temperatures provide better growing conditions for fescue and give new grass an opportunity to establish before winter.

What to expect and how to care
After aeration and overseeding, water lightly twice a day to keep the top layer moist until germination. Then water deeper and less often to train roots to grow down. Hold mowing until seedlings reach the proper height and use sharp blades for a clean cut. Expect temporary cores on the surface that break down and feed the soil. We provide timing, care steps, and follow up to help your new grass establish successfully.
